We’re always telling all you lovely people just how versatile our artificial grass is and how it’s a great surface for kids to play on at schools and of course for other sporting ventures. Well now, it’s been reinforced by the opening of a new £200,000 state-of-the-art third-generation artificial grass pitch in Wheathampstead. Funded by the Premier League and The Facilities Fund, Sport England and the 948 Sports Foundation, the pitch is at Marford Playing Fields and will be used by Wheathampstead Wanderers FC. The new turf will allow them to play regularly each week. How about that!
We love hearing stories about how artificial grass has helped out in any way or been used to improve a situation, and whilst it wasn’t our artificial grass used on these new playing fields, we’re glad all the same!
Our artificial grass has been used for a variety of different sports and if you’re looking to increase your sporting capabilities as a school, a nursery, a council or just for your own private use, artificial grass can be a great boon.
Artificial grass from Great Grass mimics a real lawn but just has none of the downsides. It’s great fun to play on, shock absorbent pads can be fitted underneath for safety, it’s hard-wearing in all weather conditions and there’s next to no maintenance; certainly no mowing, weeding and crucially, no mess.
If you’re looking for a fun, safe and hassle-free way to create a fantastic, high-quality playing surface for people of all ages then why not consider artificial grass? Contact us here at Great Grass to discuss your requirements.
