Great Grass The UK’s Supplier of Artificial Grass is looking for a temporary sale assistant to help over the busy spring/summer period, at our offices in Failsworth, Manchester.

A little about the position

This position would be ideal for a university student over the summer holidays. The position will start immediately or very soon and will be available until September/October with the option of further work after this period. The candidate will work a minimum of 20 hours a week; of which will include 4 hours a day with the option of more hours when busy. The candidate will work 3 days a week and both Saturday and Sunday. Start times will be reasonably flexible. The salary is competitive to general retail.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a confident phone manner and be comfortable with a fast paced sales environment, assisting with incoming enquires; but will also be following up warm leads. The candidate may also be asked to assist with other office/admin duties, must be comfortable with Math as the position involves calculating square meterage and handling cash.

The work environment

The work environment is friendly; the employee will be working in a comfortable office / showroom environment; the attire is casual within means. The employee will be supported by experienced employees with marketing and sales backgrounds and will be great experience for anyone wishing to work in the retail industry, construction industry, on-line commerce or in marketing or sales.
