In case you all missed it, it was the Oscars 2014 last night over in Los Angeles with some big names picking up the coveted awards. It was a good night for Dallas Buyers Club as Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto won Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively for their roles in the film. But it was 12 Years a Slave that scooped the big prize, beating the likes of American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club and The Wolf of Wall Street to claim Best Picture. And poor Leonardo DiCaprio walked away empty handed again!
The Oscars celebrates and rewards hard work, talent and creativity which are the qualities we believe everyone should possess, no matter what industry they work in. Now there wasn’t a category for this at last night’s Academy Awards but if there was, we think Great Grass would have walked away with the prize for best artificial grass.
Like the actors and actresses nominated last night, here at Great Grass, we put our heart and soul into our work to make sure we deliver the very best artificial grass products. We want to be the best in the business, and through our dedication, we think we’ve achieved that. Now we just have to stay at the top.
Now, we know we’ll never win an Oscar for our artificial grass, but it is fun to pretend. Maybe we could provide some artificial grass for next year’s ceremony. We think a garden area sounds great for all the guests to mill around. We’d have to choose the perfect yarn artificial grass – we wouldn’t want anyone falling over in their heels a la Jennifer Lawrence!
